La Vieille Ferme Cotes du Ventoux Rose 2017

External Review:

As bright and vibrant as the fuchsia color, this rosé is nearly red, with peppery strawberry flavors. Give it a chill and enjoy with grilled sausages.

Effusive and bright, with cherry pit, strawberry and mineral notes followed by a refreshing finish. An ideal summer back-porch pour that has the stuffing to match with food. Made from Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah. Drink now.

A fresh, pure, stony rosé, with dried cherry, rose petal and watermelon notes that stay focused on the finish. Drink now.

A simple fruity quaff that will drink well with cold roast chicken at lunch, through a hot afternoon by the pool and into a late dinner off the grill. Strawberry and watermelon flavors predominate, with a bit of citrus adding zip to the finish.

A standard bearer that rarely disappoints.

This hand picked blend of Cinsault, Grenache and a little Syrah comes from the foot of Mount Ventoux in Southern France. At first glance at the lovely deep pink hue, and first sniff at the floral notes with a touch of aniseed and brown sugar, you can tell this isn't an average rosé. The flavors are very rich and balanced with caramel and toffee essence.

What a pleasant surprise! Interwoven into the texture of this French rosé, along with dazzling fruit and bright floral aromas, are notes of caramel, toffee and even a touch of cane sugar! A unique blend of Grenache and Cinsault, with a wonderfully full and rich body. At this price, it's a complete steal for summer parties, barbecues and relaxing afternoons (if such things do exist).
