La Vieille Ferme Cotes du Luberon Blanc(2005)

A tasty blend of Grenache Blanc, Bourboulenc, Ugni Blanc, and Roussanne, the La Vieille Ferme Cotes de Luberon displays pretty, ripe fruit flavors that stay long on the palate.

From the hillside vineyard in the ancient Cotes du Luberon, where the mistral cools the long Provençal summers, La Vieille Ferme white originates, a fruity, crisp, dry wine made from Rhone varietals: Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and Ugni Blanc. The enhance complexity and roundness, 15% of the Grenache Blanc is fermented in small, new Limousin oak barrels. The wine has a lovely floral bouquet, hinting of spice, with fresh, lemony fruit.
