Syrah, Carignan: Macerations are quite long (often 3-4 weeks) and the wines are picked slightly later than other properties. They stand up well to wood and are beautiful examples of their terroir.
- April 2008
- Tasted at the NY Wine Co's "An Evening in Spain" wine tasting dinner: Thick sweet nose of steamed prunes and other steamed black fruits. A long, but slightly tart finish. Syrah notes of fleshiness, but not overpoweringly so. Very nice. Served with roast pork loin and potato gratin.
