La Terre are inexpensive wines produced in California that have developed a following through sale in restaurants. The name translates to “the earth,” although these wines are known for their fruity styles of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and White Zinfandel. This is a private label brand with no other known winery information other than it is owned by a Vietnamese wholesaler.
Had it at a friends. Delicious, smooth.
This was served as the house wine at a local restaurant. It was all they had, so I gave it a try. I enjoyed it so much I had to return a couple days laster for another glass. I asked which wine it was I was drinking, and I was shocked to learn it was a very inexpensive bottle. All I can remember was how smooth it was, and how I wanted to keep drinking it. I just ordered a case. I'll revise this review if I get the same taste from the bottles that arrive.
