La Spinosa Chianti Colli Fiorentini 2006

Member Review by Alvina:

Ruby, med. intensity, rose rim, tears. Red fruits on the nose, along with oak and leather, dust and earthy notes, caramelised berries. Mad. + acidity, med. body, med. + tannins, med. + finish. Easy-drinking, balanced wine with round tannins. Good example of Chianti character, not boring though definitely not outstanding wine. Can be kept for 3-5 years.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
