Winemaker's Notes:
It is reassuring to see that even in a vintage like 2007 Ch. Giscours retainsits masculine, cerebral style, albeit with a rare streak of seductive charm. Afragrant, slightly heady, blackberry nose is supported by a dense palate packedfull of rich, dried black fruit, creamy morello cherries and licorice. Thevelvety tannins emerge on the long finish alongside subtle mocha and bitterchocolate notes. This has more elegant Margaux characteristics than usual butits depth and richness mark it out as unquestionably Giscours. One of the fewsuccesses in Margaux in 2007
