La Pria Brut Prosecco D.O.C 2010
Viticultural area: Alonte vineyard, Berici Hills, southwards from Vicenza. Soils: Hills created by the sea and emerged due to volcanic activit. The volcanic rock, clayey soil and chalky seam, provide valuable calcium, potassium with particular presence of aluminium and iron oxide. A land that contains an elevated mineral supply. A climate that allows the grapes to mature completely and naturally and where there is no forcing by the high temperatures of the plains. Moreover, one vine, the Glera “Balbi” type, which is small, slightly rambling and therefore naturally low on yield, is an important enrichment in terms of grapes for all the structural components of the wine.

Not bad, a real surprise among all the prosecco .... a little gem ... Very fine bubbles, along with a long taste in mouth. The match for the whole meal, not only as an aperitif. I think it's a good sparkling wine good value for money ... toast!
It is the NICE prosecco !
Food Pairings for La Pria Brut Prosecco D.O.C
Prosecco La Pria is dry, quite warm and quite soft. It is fresh and decidedly pungent. A product that can be distinguished by its structure with the typical earthy characteristics of wines produced on the Berici Hills. A wine whose herby scents that are common to the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene prosecco’s, are not as intrusive while the fruits and flowers and the mineral element predominate, rounding off and enveloping the palate in a sensation of light and intriguing softness that one would not expect from a normal prosecco. But it is the land that is speaking in this case. A land that contains an elevated mineral supply. A climate that allows the grapes to mature completely and naturally and where there is no forcing by the high temperatures of the plains. Moreover, one vine, the Balbi Prosecco, which is small, slightly rambling and therefore naturally low on yield, is an important enrichment in terms of grapes for all the structural components of the wine. It s therefore a balanced wine in terms of the relation between the hard and soft components with an interesting aromatic complexity. In fact, in the mouth the wine is intense and has an aromatic persistence that lasts much longer than one would expect of a prosecco wine. The overall quality in terms of taste is fine.
