La Ferme Julien Ventoux Rose' 2011
Bright, pale salmon hue, with aromas of red apple skins, strawberries and wet flowers; flavor notes of strawberries, white cherries and fruit drops together with a kiss of tart and focused acidity to a refreshing and medium finish. Good summer food value!Add winemaker's notes

Side-by-side 2011 and 2010. The 2011 is more vibrant, fresher, with an additional slight edge of fruit. The 2010 was good value; the 2011: excellent. Too bad summer is waning but this is a super quaff and will be again next summer.
Bought two bottles of the 2012 at Trader Joes and opened one so far. Huge disappointment! Really flat, didn't really taste corked (not likely with at screw top :-) ) but just not as good as previous years. May try the second bottle or may just take it somewhere as a hostess gift!
