28% of the production. 18% Cabernet Sauvignon and 82% Merlot. The color is super dark inky purple almost black and opaque. There s a purity of fruit that is consistent in St. Estephe of blackberry perfume with underlying mineral gravelly stony earthy components. There s a sweet entry of blackberry and plum compote that builds with plus concentration of fruit and finishes with tannins that are so well integrated I hardly notice them. Andy Frieden.

The second wine, the 2009 La Dame de Montrose, is an amazing blend of 82% Merlot and 18% Cabernet Sauvignon. Voluptuously textured, super juicy, and sexy with intense blue and black fruits, decent acids, and silky tannin, this 2009 is already irresis... Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. Winemaker's Notes:

The Dame de Montrose 2009 has an aromatic nose full of berries, currant and citrus fruit, following through to a full body. The palate is firm, compact and powerful with wonderfully succulent and ripe tannins. Notes of orange peel combine with the voluptuous texture, juiciness and acidity followed by a long finish that will mellow with age. This is a very attractive, irresistible wine that will keep for at least 10-15 years.
