Winemaker's Notes:

The wines come from the Château Ducru Beaucaillou vineyards. Château Ducru Beaucaillou dates back to 1720 overlooking the Gironde estuary. The estate is built above the cellars where the current owners have lived for over 60 years. Château Ducru Beaucaillou is one of today's leading 'Super Second' Growths. It undergoes rigorous yet careful selection of grapes to ensure the quality of wine is perfect. Since 1995 the wine has been bottled on the property. A beautiful enticing violet colour. The nose has notes of cassis, redcurrant, coffee and smoke. The palate display delicious notes of black cherries, blackcurrants, cassis and hints of cedar and cocoa.
