What to Expect

Grenache is the main grape in many Rhone blends and most Cotes du Rhone and Chateaunuef-du-pape. It's a grape that yields soft, lightly colored yet full wines endowed with deep notes of strawberry and raspberry. While not prone to producing particularly rich or complex wines in France, Grenache is one of the world's most widely-planted grapes, producing unique expression where ever it is planted. It is particularly common in Spain as Garnacha, and Sardinia, as Canonnau,

Winemakers Notes

Brilliant colour with pink tints. Aromas of red fruits—crushed strawberry. Harmonious in the mouth, slightly acidulated but good body. An elegant, gourmet rosé.
Serve during the summer with Mediterranean dishes as well as throughout the year with traditionnal or spicy dishes.

Editorial Reviews

With a very fruity nose with vanilla scented strawberry fruit, smells a bit sweet and marshmallowy, drier than expected on the palate, in fact dry, nice slinky , slick feel, earthy fruit with a nice touch of spice a more savory style in the mouth than the nose would lead one to believe. Spicy clean finish. A nice Provencal style. 88opts

peach in color with strawberry perfume and stone fruit on the nose - their are mineral notes that feel as if you are bathing in a creek...light fruit, grapefruit and crisp acidity. Enjoyable for a summer bbq

Enlightened well balanced acids with a subtle melony and pineapple fruits, and a bubblegum finish. Fun to drink by itself.

Strawberry and cedar nose makes way for a wine with a touch of sweetness on the attack, rustic flavors and a bit of oak creaminess. Largely earthy and dry, I'd definitely recommend this with grilled foods.
