Light and fresh-looking with violet and garnet hues. The nose had inviting aromas of ripe raspberry, tea, and dried herbs. Cherries and spice fill the palate, rounded out by earth and underbrush. The oak influence was more pronounced on the palate with notes of vanilla and cedar. The La Crema has a light body, a good acidic backbone, and delicate tannins that linger for quite a while, along with cherry and vanilla oak flavors. Good wine. We like it but not as rich as we want. If we get a good price we buy it for every day.

Spicy, fruity and depth are what I like about this wine. Have been disappointed with the 2007 but all other vintages since 2005 are great. I would drink this wine everyday with excitement.

The 2009 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is outstanding. Its medium ruby color is followed by aromas of loamy soil intermixed with sweet black cherries, raspberries and plums. This medium-bodied, elegant, flavorful Pinot is already endearing and should continue to drink well for 2ndash;3 years.

The 2009 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir offers aromas of lush cherry and red plum, with subtle hints of black tea and cola. On the palate, avors are ripe and elegant, centering on red cherry and spice with a touch of earthiness and dark chocolate. A rich, juicy mid-palate and vivid acidity lead to plush tannins on the finish. - Winery ** SOLD OUT **

Good intensity, with smoky orange peel, dried cherry, raspberry and spice. Lively acidity and well-integrated tannins. Drink now through 2006.

The 2001 Pinot Noir Estate Carneros exhibits more underbrush, forest floor and cinnamon characteristics along with straightforward cherry and strawberry fruit. This medium-bodied Pinot is meant for immediate consumption.

A good Pinot that shows a fine coastal influence. Dry and silky, it displays flavors of ripe cherries, Dr. Pepper cola, red licorice and sandalwood, with a cinnamon and pepper flourish. Drink now.

The medium-bodied, crisp 2008 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast (200,000 cases produced) is a straightforward, light ruby-colored Pinot displaying tart pomegranate and cherry fruit intermixed with notions of herbs and underbrush. It is ideal for uncritical quaffing, over the next 2-4 years.

Tasting Notes:

Juicy and fruit-forward, this release delivers engaging aromas of ripe, fresh strawberries and bright orange zest, with subtle floral tones. The palate literally explodes with vibrant strawberry and cherry flavors. The vivid fruit profile and bright acidity make this vintage particularly juicy and mouth-watering. As they do in the south of France, enjoy this dry Rosé well chilled on a hot summer day.
