Consistently a great wine year over year. Perfect for red drinkers that need something a little lighter for the summer months.
1) Nose of Strawberry and cherry with floral and earthy hints. 2) Strong and Powerful yet with smooth mouthfeel and elegant finish. 3) Palate of Strawberries and cherries with hints of truffles, floral and spice. Smooth tannins. 4) Excellent Length. 5) Little pronounced on alcohol but very good balance nonetheless.
Stands the test of time. La Crema has long produced an outstanding Pinot and this like all their others stands up from start to finish.
As others have said, this wine is consistently good. A solid choice for just about any palate.
Another great value pinot and another great drink from la crema the 2005 five is more complex.
nice smooth taste. very enjoyable
