La Chablisienne Sauvignon Saint-Bris 2012

Member Review by zufrieden:

Lemon oil and freshly mowed grass dominates the nose of this wine, while the palate is treated to a spring-water fresh infusion of citrus and gooseberry; there is some tartness, but the mouth-feel is light and easy. Delicious picnic or party fare - not for the serious-minded. Good value and a conversation piece. 87 points.

La Chablisienne:
Since 1923 at Chablis in Burgundy, the meticulous care of the vine-growers working together under the banner of La Chablisienne has given birth to wines whose magnificence is amplified by the passage of time. These wines, coming from a mosaic of "cimats", or vineyard plots, provide a pallet of emotions marked with a truly mineral touch.
