La Chablisiènne is actually a collection of growers under the form of a cooperative that was founded in 1923. It is an enormous operation, indeed so large that they now reportedly vinify and market between 25 and 33% of all the wine made in Chablis, a remarkable volume that is now approaching one million cases according to the director of marketing Hervé Tucki.
