Add your reviewEnjoyed this rare wine on 22 Jan, 2012 with my family. As main course we had deer filet. The day was, by the way, presidential election day in Finland. Have had this wine in my cellar since November 2003, so more than 8 years of patience :) On the nose, the wine is warm, earthy, with (blue)berries and light oaky vanilla. The palate is gentle, smooth, with the same characteristics as on the nose. The aftertaste is smooth and very, very long. This wine again confirms the tremendous potential of some good ripasso wines in terms of aging. It was simply a great experience, njam.
