La Bastide Dauzac. Andre Lurton 2010

Member Review by Peter Choy:

Clear, opaque ruby with paler rims. On nose the intensity is a bit less than desirable, mainly on blackberry. Palate of blackberry, vanilla and liquorice with soft tannin. Medium+ body and medium length. Acceptable quality and is suitable to drink now.

That said, André remains a popular alternative, and since its inception is now available in a wide variety of styles including rosé and from dry to sweet.  Read less
