Strawberries and blackberries on a richly, sweet nose. Licorice and chocolate in the mouth - very fruity. Medium bodied, yet simple. Finishes on black licorice. Great value for $10

The nose is very jammy, with plum and blackberry aromas. The palate is primarily blackberry jam, with a bit of oak, a bit of acid and just slightly tannic. Fairly light-bodied overall, it's got a bit of everything but could use more of it all.

This was a very nice cab. It has a nice rich garnet color. I taste blackberry. It has gentle tannins and a nice finish. I like the slightly fruity (but not sweet) character. A very solid value. I will be looking for this wine and this vintner in the future. A very solid cab.

Crimson red in color.Delicious, complex hints of plum, cherry, blackberry and truffle on the nose. Rich and concentrated with layers of juicy plum, black currant and coffee nuances. A gorgeous, medim-bodied wine that finishes with polished tannins allowing the ripe fruit flavors to show through.

Juicy cherry, mint, herb, coffee, toasty vanilla and blackberry flavors are round and tasty, with ripe tannins that give it some stuffing. Drink now through 2006.

Dry and peppery, this Cab has brisk, furry tannins that need rich meats and cheeses for balance. It's deep in flavor, with black currant, black cherries and plum sauce.

Opening with luscious aromas of Bing cherry and plum this Bordeaux blend has beautifully balanced flavors that follow. The wine is medium bodied with round tannins and a clean finish. It is very smooth and easy drinking with black cherry fruit plum spices and mocha rounded out by a lush lingering finish. Serve with lamb shanks or braised short ribs.

Shows a pleasant minty currant edge, with spice, cedar and mineral notes. Thins out and turns simpler. Yet this is a nice find at this price. Drink now through 2014.

Wonderful aromas of violets and spice, with bright fruit flavors of blackberries and red currants. Subtle notes of licorice and spice complement a nice touch of coffee flavor and toasty oak. Nicely balanced, with a silky texture.

    Winemaker's Notes:

A complex wine with enticing aromas that are immediately evident as it pours from the bottle to the glass. Deep crimson in color, the wine spreads across the palate with layers of cherry, blueberry and cocoa. The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon displays a nice tannin structure and would pair excellently with grilled meats and hard cheeses such as Parmigiano and Romano.www.boissetfamilyestates.com
