Kwv Red Blend Roodeberg 2010
Just had this wine now in Nov 2011, and it was really very good. Tastes more like 2 - 3 times it's current price here in Vancouver and is going like hotcakes. Bought a few - for Xmas and for tasting in 2012 - can't wait!Add winemaker's notes
Roodeberg winery was established by Dr. Charles Niehaus in Paarl, South Africa in the late 1940s. It’s named for the granite outcrop on the Boland mountains that casts a red hue during sunset. Now overseen by Thys Loubser, the winery is best known for red and white blends.

Only bottle of wine I've ever actually poured down the sink. Just terrible.
This is a darn tasty wine for the price. It's a little tart on the front end but has that leather taste I love and equate with a much costlier wine. Two thumbs up!
great qpr. Nose of cinnamon and clove. Palate of Leather, slight oak and mint. Tastes very chilean.
Good wine, opened it today, Nov. 10, 2010, it may have lost a little of its texture. Light tannin.
Popped and let sit for 1 hour in glass. Berry aromas and chocolate on the nose. Summer berries, chocolate, vanilla and oak on the palate. An enjoyable everyday sipper. 86
