This all-occasion, easy-drinking, medium bodied red wine has summer berry aromas and flavours complimented by hints of chocolate and spicy vanilla oak. Serve at a temperature of 18 celsius. Roodeberg winery was established by Dr. Charles Niehaus in Paarl, South Africa in the late 1940s. It’s named for the granite outcrop on the Boland mountains that casts a red hue during sunset. Now overseen by Thys Loubser, the winery is best known for red and white blends.
Popped and let sit for 1 hour in glass. Berry aromas and chocolate on the nose. Summer berries, chocolate, vanilla and oak on the palate. An enjoyable everyday sipper. 86

Let it sit in the glass for a while before drinking. It was remarkably more smooth and enjoyable the next day. Lovely berry flavors.
