Blend: 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Syrah, 1% Malbec Bold, fresh, and delicious are the watchwords for our 2004 Kunde Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. Its deep ruby color immediately tells you this is one to take seriously. Black cherry scents are followed by rich, mouth-filling flavors of blackberries and dark chocolate, with just a touch of chalky tannins at the end to tell you it's still a youngster. This wine will be at home with the classic complements to Cabernet: grilled steak and prime rib, but will also readily take to pasta with tomato-based sauces. - Tim Bell, Winemaker
