What to Expect

Sauvignon Blanc is a refreshingly crisp white wine that offers citrus and tropical fruit flavors with very aromatic notes of green chilies, grass, herbs, asparagus and gooseberries commonly contributing to the bouquet. Sauvignon Blanc is generally unaoked allowing the fruit to shine and highlighting the delicacy of the grape.

Winemakers Notes

Full bodied with ripe gooseberry flavours and a crisp, lingering finish.

Food Accompaniments: Serve at temperature of 12°C. Shell fish, seafood, chicken, grilled vegetables, goat's cheese.

Kumkani Lanner Hill Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2006 won a silver medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles in 2007.

Kumkani Lanner Hill Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2007 won a bronze medal at the International Wine Challenge and bronze at the Decanter World Wine Awards.
