What to Expect

Chardonnay is America's most popular grape and with good reason. Made in styles that range from steely, mineral laced wines with crisp green apple fruit to wines that are buttery, rich, and laden with tropical fruits, there is a Chardonnay that will appeal to every palate. Chardonnay is most closely associated with France's Burgundy region and California's Northern valleys though it has proven successful around the globe.

Winemakers Notes

The perfect condition of the grapes and the lovely ripe nature of the vintagemeant that this wine saw a little more new oak than usual (25%). The beautifulpeach and hazelnut aromas along with the silky textural richness are distinctcharacteristics of this wine even at this young stage. This is undoubtedly oneof the best vintages we have seen of this wine and is a sheer delight to tasteand drink.

The perfect condition of the grapes and the lovely ripe nature of the vintage meant that this wine saw a little more new oak than usual (25%). The wine from this spectacular vintage is ripe, floral and delicious. The beautiful peach and hazelnut aromas along with the rich silky texture are distinct characteristics of this wine even at this young stage. This is undoubtedly one of the best examples the winery has seen of this wine.
