Weingut Gustav Krug:
Since 1843, six generations of the Krug family have cultivated the markedly individual character of their exceptional champagne, showing that same single-mindedness and sense of purpose with which the founder, Johann-Joseph Krug, set out alone in pursuit of his objective of creating a champagne with a taste all its own.

Four and a half glasses

Tasting Notes:

This wine has a complex, rich nose of toasted honey and ripe apricot. Bruce Sanderson of The Wine Spectator writes, “A seductive mosaic of biscuit, honey and walnut oil lead to baking bread and citrus.”

This sparkling white is made with chardonnay grapes. The House of Krug is known for their premium champagne, and this 1990 vintage is no exception. Bright honey and apricot flavor with a crisp, clean finish.
