Kris Pinot Grigio 2010
Editorial Reviews for Kris Pinot Grigio
Light apple and pear fruit on the nose with a hint of spice and peach. A bit soft on entry and a touch indistinct with an almost sweet edge to the fruit that is balanced by a vein of almost bitter minerality that pops on the modest finish. Seems like a wine afraid of offending someone, anyone. 84pts
Smooth, slightly acidic but very well-balanced.
crisp, lemon slices, white grapefruit, refreshing
lots of minerality and some fruit on the nose....tongue faithfully faithfully
Another Pinot Grigio I kinda like (believe me it's rare). This one has pronounced pear, peach and lemon flavors. Very clean finish. An easy summer sipper.
Sweet with a bit of acidity. Tastes of pear and lime, very crisp.
Green apples, lime and citrus. Pineapples on the finish, Very refreshing
Apple/pear aromas, citrusy and tart on the palette

A great value, Haas's 2001 Kris Pinot Grigio is a tank-fermented and aged, 100% Pinot Grigio offering a moderately intense bouquet of white peaches and candied fruits. Fresh, medium-bodied, and fruity, with excellent purity as well as an appealing personality.
Straw yellow with a greenish tint. Grassy aroma with herbal overtones. Very crisp and smooth, with ripe apple and lemon flavors laced with the variety's characteristic taste of almond. This sprightly and engaging wine clamors for food.
Pale yellow in color with brilliant greenish reflections, enticing aromas of acacia flowers, citrus, tangerine, and hints of apricots and almonds. Kris is lean and refreshing on the palate with hints of blossom and honey.
The aromatic 2006 Pinot Grigio from Kris presents generous, sweet apricot and melon flavors with an easy-going, refreshing personality. Anticipated maturity: 2007ndash;2008.
From the Haas family, this incredible value in dry, fresh, lively white wine has been a huge success in the marketplacehellip; and itrsquo;s easy to understand why. A beautiful floral nose reveals hints of honeyed lemon, orange rind, and pears. Crisp, light to medium-bodied, refreshing, and impeccably well-made, it should be consumed over the next 12 months.
The 2007 Pinot Grigio is a clean, focused wine with perfumed fruit and a long, refreshing finish. Drink this medium-bodied white over the next year or so. Anticipated maturity: 2008ndash;2009. The Pinot Grigio is made predominantly from purchased fruit.
The 2008 Pinot Grigio is a fairly rich, full-bodied style of Pinot Grigio, with plenty of ripe yellow peaches and excellent balance. This is an especially refined version of Krisrsquo;s Pinot Grigio. Anticipated maturity: 2009ndash;2011.
