Kris Pinot Grigio 2009
KRIS Heart Rosso is garnet in color with intense aromas of dense blackberries, spicy currants and leather. Ripe fruit flavors are balanced by lively acidity, making this an excellent wine to enjoy with food. Recommended with roasted meats, rich pastas, smoked sausage and flavorful cheeses.
KRIS is a fresh, contemporary, and artistic expression of Italian wines from the classic Delle Venezie appellation in Northeast Italy, hand-crafted to exacting standards by the one of the region’s most talented wine makers, Franz Haas.

One of the great values in Pinot Grigio, this tank-fermented and aged, light-bodied wine exhibits good texture along with plenty of peach, tangerine, and citrusy notes. This fruity, dry Italian white is ideal for drinking during its first 12 months of life.
From the Haas family, this incredible value in dry, fresh, lively white wine has been a huge success in the marketplace... and it's easy to understand why. A beautiful floral nose reveals hints of honeyed lemon, orange rind, and pears. Crisp, light to medium-bodied, refreshing, and impeccably well-made, it should be consumed over the next 12 months.
The aromatic 2006 Pinot Grigio from Kris presents generous, sweet apricot and melon flavors with an easy-going, refreshing personality. Anticipated maturity: 2007-2008.
Straw yellow with a greenish tint. Grassy aroma with herbal overtones. Very crisp and smooth, with ripe apple and lemon flavors laced with the variety's characteristic taste of almond. This sprightly and engaging wine clamors for food.
A clean, grapey white with fresh pear and almond flavors, this is gentle and juicy. Chill it for roast fish.
The 2007 Pinot Grigio is a clean, focused wine with perfumed fruit and a long, refreshing finish. Drink this medium-bodied white over the next year or so. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2009. The Pinot Grigio is made predominantly from purchased fruit.
Refreshing peach and almond aromas followed by a silky texture, ginger spice and delicate floral tones. Surprisingly fruity for this often austere grape, with a lingering, lemon finish.
