Kramer Vineyards Celebrate Muller-Thurgau NV

Winemaker's Notes:

This sparkling wine is made from our Muller-Thurgau table wine that is slightly sweetened, then carbonated in a high-pressure tank for 5-7 days. This method preserves the fruitiness and softens acidity, resulting in a wine that is very easty to drink. We typically do 2-3 batches per vintage; 65 cases are produced for each batch.

Located 30 miles west of Portland in the northern part of the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, our wines are made from grapes grown in our LIVE-certified sustainable estate vineyard. Our goal is to produce wines that are true expressions of varietal, vineyard, and vintage. We believe this is achieved through a combination of sustainable viticulture practices and a winemaking philosophy that is driven by the flavor profile and composition of the fruit at harvest. We produce Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Müller-Thurgau, Carmine, sparkling, rosé, and dessert wines. Read less

Tasting Notes:

This light sparkler has fruity/floral aromas of grapey Muscat, honeysuckle, jasmine, and orange blossom. The wine is soft and light in the mouth, with flavors of honeysuckle, pear, apple, banana, honey, lemon, and marzipan, with a long, fruity finish.
