Acidic edge. Huge! Tannic. Medium body. Mint chocolate. Rich, juicy. Salmon color. 5 year wait!
Huge, loads of finesse. The perfect pinot. Light-medium tannin and acid. Long. Plummy. Integrated. Massive, but restrained. Strawberry.
This wine oozed of smoky rubber bands and offered little else. The body was light even for pinot, perhaps watery. Minimal fruit and tannic structure. whomever posted this wines price at 59.99 is confused because it reatails for $130 usd. I was unable to stomach more than a glass of this wine, beware.
We opened this to celebrate Barack Obama winning the presidential election, and were not disappointed.
Very Fruity and young. Must be decanted at least an hour if opened before 2009. Once decanted it opens up and is delicious.
Outstanding, elegant. Best after 3,4 years

Medium red. Energetic red berries, minerals and fresh flowers on the nose, complicated by Asian spices and pungent herbs. Racy and sharply focused, offering tangy redcurrant and wild strawberry flavors. Bracing minerality adds cut to the long, spicy ... Stephen Tanzer's IWC. A Pinot Noir wine from California in USA. 2006 Kosta Browne Pinot Noir 4-Barrel 750ml
Offers a pretty burst of ripe plum and black cherry fruit to accompany the herb sage dusty berry and loamy earth flavors. Ends with a complex aftertaste and hints of anise and toasty oak. Drink now through 2011. 3 627 cases made. -JL Wine Spectator.
Medium red. Intensely perfumed bouquet of spiced cherry, raspberry and blood orange, complicated by smoky minerals and fresh rose. Tangy, sharply focused red berry flavors are medium-bodied and refreshing, picking up a sweeter kirsch note with air. The blood orange quality returns on the long, juicy finish. Sexy and energetic wine-and much more sophisticated than some of this winery's pinot efforts just a few short years ago.
Shows a notable cola-sassafras character, with savory herb, dried blueberry and wild berry fruit that's pure, complex and persistent, ending with a nice loamy earth quality. Drink now through 2011. 724 cases made. JL Wine Spectator. A Pinot Noir wine from California in USA. 2006 Kosta Browne Pinot Noir Koplen Vineyard 750ml
