External Reviews for Kosta Browne Rrv 09
Bright ruby. An aromatic nose combines raspberry, candied licorice, pepper, violet, herbs and spicy oak. Sweet, chewy, fine-grained and juicy, with good sappy energy intensifying the red berry and cherry flavors. The persistent, gently tannic finish... Stephen Tanzers IWC. A Pinot Noir wine from California in USA. 2009 Kosta Browne Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast 750ml
Winemaker's Notes:
Our 2009 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is a blend of eleven vineyards which lie in different locations throughout the Russian River Valley. Russian River Valley is a complex region and because we source fruit from vineyards throughout the appellation, our Russian River Valley Pinot Noir has many layers and complexities. The wine shows a range of bright red fruits to brambly voluptuous characteristics, all hallmark characteristics of the Russian River Valley. The individual lots are all unique, providing distinct aromas and fl avors, and giving the blend broad complexity. We recommend drinking this wine between 2013 and 2018.
Tasting Notes:
Layers of rich, warm spices co-mingle with the red and dark fresh fruit components of red raspberry, crushed ripe cherries and a hint of fresh blackberry.
