Very Fruity and young. Must be decanted at least an hour if opened before 2009. Once decanted it opens up and is delicious.

Huge, loads of finesse. The perfect pinot. Light-medium tannin and acid. Long. Plummy. Integrated. Massive, but restrained. Strawberry.

Our 2006 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is a blend of four vineyards. Three of these are located near the southern end of the Russian River Valley appellation. The fourth, Gap's Crown, is near Penngrove, which is highly influenced by the Petaluma Gap's cooling influence. The wines from this region are rich in dark fruit, clean earth and broad texture. We recommend drinking this wine between 2009 and 2014. Complex and enticing. Ripe black cherrry, lush blackberry with earthy undertones of mushroom, smoke and a dusting of cocoa.
