Flavorful, intense wines - that is our goal. We believe every wine should be bursting with flavor. This intensity should be part of a greater balance. We find that each of our vineyards has its own "sweet spot" of balance. It is our charge to guide each vineyard to its optimum flavor potential. Our single vineyard wines are blended to express the specific qualities and consistencies of our pedigreed vineyards. Pinot Noir is the perfect palate to define the terroir of these plantings. We offer two appellation wines: our Sonoma Coast and Russian River. These wines are blended to represent the best of our vineyards in each specific appellation. Quality is of utmost importance with these blends. Read less

Intense concentrated and well-structured with flavors built around cola sassafras and dusty wild berry; this wine quickly picks up momentum and the flavors grow on you showing a measure of restraint that may blossom with a year or two. Best from 2006 through 2011. 260 cases made. Wine Spectator.
