[The Harrison: striped bass c olives] Not decanted, drank over 2 hours. Ruby red color. Well-balanced. Lush red fruit, cranberry, dark cherry, and raspberry; spice and smoke. Very acidic. Cont'ed to evolve over the course of drinking. Prototypical RR Pinot. Great wine; drinking now, though has some life remaining. Have 1 bottle left; will decant the next for at least an hour.

[Chicken, blue smoke sauce, peppers] Different from the first time. Started very earthy, blueberry on the nose and the palate; spice. Later developed aromas of strawberry jam and bright fruit. Great balance. Very rich. This is fabulous stuff and these guys are living the Dream.

Begins with black cherry and mocha with an explosion of big bright fruit. Well balanced but huge for a pinot. Best wine of the day.

Intense, concentrated and well-structured, with flavors built around cola, sassafras and dusty wild berry; this wine quickly picks up momentum and the flavors grow on you, showing a measure of restraint that may blossom with a year or two. Best from ... Wine Spectator. A Pinot Noir wine from California in USA. 2003 Kosta Browne Pinot Noir Cohn Vineyard 750ml
