Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

User Reviews for Kosta Browne Chardonnay Russian River Valley One Sixteen

Winemaker's Notes:

93 points California Grapevine: Medium-light to medium golden yellow color; attractive, forward, intense, buttery, lemony, ripe pear and spicy baked apple aroma with mineral notes and traces of vanilla and butterscotch; medium-full to full body; forward, rich, deep, firmly structured, pear and green apple flavors with bright acidity and a slightly creamy mouthfeel; lingering aftertaste. While the fruit and oak are amply proportioned in this wine they are also very nicely balanced and well integrated. Very highly recommended. 14.5% alcohol; 2,191 cases; 100% barrel fermented; 100% malolactic fermentation; released Spring 2013. (Apr 2013)
