Another year, another near-perfect bubbly from Korbel. It’s an unusual blend of Russian River-grown Pinot Noir and Sangiovese, Gamay and Chenin Blanc hailing from the Delta. Made with true French Champagne methodology, the wine exhibits classic flavors of raspberries, vanilla, smoke and yeasty dough, with a very slight honeyed taste in the finish. Korbel prides itself on the consistency of its sparkling wines, and their brut rosé could easily make the Best Buy list ever year.
With its pretty color and clean, inviting aroma, this bubbly offers plenty of bang for the buck. It has polished flavors of strawberries and cream, with a smoky, doughy backdrop and a rich, spicy finish that thoroughly dry.
A delightful rosé sparkler, rich in raspberry, cherry and toasty, yeasty flavors, with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel and a honey-sweet finish. Made from Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, Gamay and Chenin Blanc, it’s a super value at this price.
Tart cherry and apple fruit with big bubbles and a medium finish. Great for a wedding toast.
Another year, another near-perfect brut rosé from Korbel. So dry and balanced, so layered, with yummy raspberry, vanilla, smoke and yeasty dough flavors, it’s just irresistible.
Wispy light pink in color with light red berry fruit and floral notes on the nose and palate; frothy bubbles with a zesty fruit finish. Savory croissants or puff pastry.
Full-bodied and slightly sweet on the finish, this sparkler has pronounced red cherry and strawberry flavors. It will appeal to those who like a little dosage in their sparkling wine.
