Clean and bright on the nose with yeast scents paired with white orchard fruits. On the palate this is noticeably sweet with lots of fruit, pears, and spice tones. It’s very richly fruited and retains a youthful, green grape tone to the mid-palate and onto the moderately long finish. 86pts

I'm not a big Champagne drinker, especially ones from California. Although, I was surprised by this one. It is dry but not overpowering with hints of citrus fruit (possibly lime) and apple. Results in a very enjoyable way to celebrate any occasion especially for the price tag of $8.
Sweet nose - a typical California sparkler. Soft with sweet fruits, some yeast and buscuit, but ultimately a soft wine. Slightly tart finish.
Korbel makes 1.3M cases, but practices sustainable farming and even has a new line of Organic products. This wine has great bubbles and a softly sweet buscuit flavor. A very soft and smooth finish with a nice rich mid-palate.

One of Korbelandrsquo;s most consistent wines, this brut shows a rich elegance and balance, with doughy flavors or peaches and a hint of smoke, vanilla and cherry.
Bearing a special Times Square 2000 label, the Korbel people must believe you are as gung-ho about the millennium as they are. For as long as Korbel Champagne Cellars has been making bubbly in California, this wine managed to strike a balance between cost and quality. Clean flavor, with a bit of toast and yeast; good for when the gangandrsquo;s over.
Crisp and clean, this is a very nice sparkling wine for everyday purposes at an everyday price. Itandrsquo;s just a little sweet, with vanilla cream, peach sorbet and citrus fruit vibrancy. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are among the constituent grapes, along with Chenin Blanc and French Columbard.
