Member Review by rckr1951:

A real beauty. Apples, lemongrass and grapefruit combine with a little petrol, acidity and wonderful minerality to give a refreshing, mouthwatering finish. Drink now - Paul 90 points

The year I turned 21 this kept me company throughout the summer and really got me going on drinking wine in general. For starters I loved the fact that is was inexpensive. I also like citrus notes

This is a fun wine to drink on its own on a hot day or with shellfish. Classic fruity and grassy sauvignon blanc. Crisp, light, and refreshing.

As close as it gets to biting into a perfectly juicy Granny Smith apple, with a wonderful purity and mouthwatering acidity. This is also extremely smooth, with lime peel and grapefruit flavors that linger on the finish.

The 2013 Sauvignon Blanc gives notes of gooseberries and fresh apple slices over hints of elderflower and chopped herbs. Light to medium bodied, it provides just enough apple and citrus-laced flavor intensity with a backbone of racy acid and a medium to long finish. Drink it now to 2015.

Tangy and bright, with juicy flavors of fresh lime juice, ruby grapefruit, pineapple and lemon, set on a light, smooth body. Drink now.

Fresh peach flavors brighten this juicy sauvignon. With its floral scents of honey and beeswax, as well as a creamy texture, it feels broad and rich. Chill it for poached salmon.

Lemon curd, fresh ginger and ripe apricot flavors are in harmony, with refreshing acidity and a light but smooth body. Drink now.

The only wine from New Zealand actually made by the native Maori people, Kono Sauvignon Blanc is more lemon-lime than grapefruit, although it still has that fresh grassiness for which the grape is famous. Zesty and refreshing, itrsquo;s the perfect porch-sipping wine.
