Kokomo Sauvignon Blanc Dry Creek Valley Timber Crest 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

This Sauvignon Blanc was made in a traditional style to showcase more of the tropical nature of the varietal. We achieved this by letting the fruit develop more maturity by exposing the clusters to sunlight on the vine. We fermented 100% of this wine in stainless steel at 50° to showcase the crisp, clean flavors of the varietal. This refreshing wine is a perfect summer sipper that would pair well with fresh seafood, seasonal vegetables and an array of ethnic cuisine.

We think you should drink local and think global and we are proud to support causes we believe in located in Sonoma County, like the annual Harmony Festival, Art for Life, KRCB, Food for Thought and the annual Mayacama Celebrity Golf Tournament, just to name a few. In January 2008, we celebrated the opening of our brand new winery at Timber Crest Farms in Dry Creek Valley. Visitors to our winery will enjoy a unique wine tasting experience - we have incorporated the tasting room into our cellar. We are located on a beautiful 120 acre vineyard on the Dry Creek East Bench, and our estate fruit consists of Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Primitivo, Muscat Blanc, and Sauvignon Blanc.
