Food Pairings for Kir-Yianni Ramnista
2006 Kir Yinni Ramnista Made from 100% Xinomavro To the best of my knowledge this translates to Acid Black and that is what you get a big whack of flavour. I get excited by good Greek wines this is one of them. In the mouth: It offers flavours that are Ripe, rich, complex with robust tannins, a long finish with hint of oak. On the nose: A concentrated bouquet of red fruit and hints of sun-dried tomato, black olive, mushroom and barrel age. The 2006 Ramnista can age 10+ years. Its not cheep. But for me, it offers a lot more drinking pleasure than 707 for example.
