Kings Ridge Pinot Noir 2009

External Review:

Light and fragrant, with pretty rose petal overtones to the currant and berry fruit, finishing with delicate grip. Drink now through 2014.

Soft and silky with delicate tannins and a sweet raspberry flavor. Finishes on sweet chocolate. Served with lobster.

Delicious with a smooth finish, and a bitter end

We like it it went well with food and was not too harsh to sip alone

I liked it. Didn't love it. I thought it was smooth and not overpowering. Theirs an enveloping, rich, well round taste and mouthfeel to a great pinot that I feel this one lacked. However, I would buy it again as I thought my guests enjoyed it with the pork tenderloin I made.

The nose is oak and vanilla, and strawberry. The taste is sweet; cranberry and raspberry. Finishes with hints of pepper and cantaloupe.
