Add your reviewIf you like your Sauvignon Blanc with a bit of grapefruit, it doesn't get much better than the Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc 2006 from Marlborough, New Zealand. This wine is fresh, clean and crisp, and filled with flavors of grapefruit and lime. It's medium-bodied, low in acidity and has a moderate alcohol level of 13 percent -- a good thing, because it's a very easy wine to drink. It usually hits the shelf at just under $20 a bottle, but every now and then it goes on sale for about $15 -- when it does, stock up!
wowza...super white peach on the nose and finish. so freakin' tasty and crisp that I looked and I had nearly polished off the bottle in one sitting. more than I could want from a marlborough sb at the price point. went perfectly with my spicy string beans
Citrus, crisp, totally refreshing. Went through 4 cases at my wedding, but who cares since I got it on sale in NJ for $12.99 a bottle! One of the best deals in the wine world in 2007.

Classic Sauvignon characters of cut grass and tropical fruits are dominant on the nose. Unfolds with flavors of passionfruit, gooseberry and subtle herbaceousness. The wine is mouthfilling with good texture and finishes well with cleansing acidity and great length. Ideally suited to asparagus, oysters and summer salads.

"Spectator 92 Selected from various low yielding vineyards in the Wairau, Brancott, Waihoepai and Awatere valleys, these Sauvignon Blanc grapes were machine harvested and protectively handled. After juice clarification the wine was innoculated with pure, aromatic yeast strains and cool fermented. Once dry the wine was stabilised, filtered and bottled.
