Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc 2013
Color: Light straw with yellow and green hues. Aroma: Citrus and tropical fruits backed by characteristic herbaceous notes for which Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is renowned. Palate: An exuberant wine brimming with juicy acidity and fruit sweetness, providing a balanced flavor profile. The finish is fresh, zesty, and lingering. Cellar: All these factors have resulted in the plethora of fruit flavors, crisp acidity, and complexity of this stunning wine. Ready for immediate enjoyment, this wine will continue to develop from one to three years.
One of the reasons why New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs have taken the world by storm. Delightful to the point of exuberance, this is a great wine for drinking alone of with lighter fare.
White grapefruit, crisp and acidic with a some lemon pith and a decent finish. Pretty good QPR and a nice summer quaff.
An intensely perfumed wine with notes of white flowers, honey, white peach and soft meyer lemon notes. Not herbal/grassy. Very slight notes of acetone or cats pee. More of the same on the palate with good length and subtle minerality. Light and refreshing. I am not convinced that I like this vintage as much as previous vintages.
Grapefruit on the nose, grapefruit on the palate; smooth and easy to drink.
Passion fruit tones

A fragrant, spicy mix of peach, apricot and citrus flavors, with vibrant acidity and plenty of grapefruit zest nuances on the finish. Drink now.
For a wine with such a large volume (over half a million cases were imported to the U.S.), the quality is admirable. Passion fruit and grapefruit elements dominate, while some grassier notes emerge as the wine sits in the glass, resulting in a pleasant blend of tropical and herbal notes. It’s plump on the midpalate, then gains focus on the lengthy, mouthwatering finish.
LOOK: Beautifully bright, pale lemon.SMELL: With the crack of the cap, unleash the unexpected as an array of delicious aromas leap from the glass. Pink grapefruit, key lime, passion fruit, frangipani, and pineapple tempt your senses.TASTE: An exuberant wine packed with flavour, balanced by mouth-watering acidity and a fresh, zesty, lingering finish.EAT: Perfect for all occasions, particularly delicious with fresh oysters, asparagus, lobster, or summer salads. - WineryTA: 7.5g/LpH: 3.32RS: 5g/LALCOHOL: 12.5%
