- Very smooth. Not as interesting as some other Pinots. Not the best value.
- November 2007

1) Smoky, pepery cinnamon and plums on the nose
2) Cherry, Raspberry and stewed plums on the palate with slight hints of strawberry and truffle. Oaky.
3) Well balanced.
4) Nice smooth finish accompanied with excellent length. D
5) Tannins powerful but decent due to youth of wine.

- I agree with most of the reviews written -- including the fruit notes. I really liked the smoky overtone that dressed this wine up.

- Flavors of cherry and wild strawberry, silky tannins, and a light kiss of oak all hang in perfect balance here, and the finish lingers. Another in a string of tremendous efforts from one of the most talented Pinot Noir producers in New Zealand.
