Kim Crawford New Zealand Unoaked Chardonnay 2011
One of the reasons why New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs have taken the world by storm. Delightful to the point of exuberance, this is a great wine for drinking alone of with lighter fare.
Very nice unoaked New Zealand chardonnay. Crisp and clean on the frontend with nice citrus and balanced acidity. Lemon, apricot and gala apple with a very cleansing mouth feel.
Nice unoaked New Zealand Chardonnay. Good, clean, crisp citrus fruits with some minerality. Some complexity makes this a bit better than the normal $10-15 bottles.
The 2011 is similar to their 2010 in flavor profile; citrus, green apple and lots of fruit. Nice amount of acid. The wine tastes German with its mineral and acid and fruit combination. Many Chardonnays lack acid balance--This one is perfect. My rating 91-92.
