An intensely perfumed wine with notes of white flowers, honey, white peach and soft meyer lemon notes. Not herbal/grassy. Very slight notes of acetone or cats pee. More of the same on the palate with good length and subtle minerality. Light and refreshing. I am not convinced that I like this vintage as much as previous vintages.

If you like your Sauvignon Blanc with a bit of grapefruit, it doesn't get much better than the Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc 2006 from Marlborough, New Zealand. This wine is fresh, clean and crisp, and filled with flavors of grapefruit and lime. It's medium-bodied, low in acidity and has a moderate alcohol level of 13 percent -- a good thing, because it's a very easy wine to drink. It usually hits the shelf at just under $20 a bottle, but every now and then it goes on sale for about $15 -- when it does, stock up!

wowza...super white peach on the nose and finish. so freakin' tasty and crisp that I looked and I had nearly polished off the bottle in one sitting. more than I could want from a marlborough sb at the price point. went perfectly with my spicy string beans

Citrus, crisp, totally refreshing. Went through 4 cases at my wedding, but who cares since I got it on sale in NJ for $12.99 a bottle! One of the best deals in the wine world in 2007.

A fragrant, spicy mix of peach, apricot and citrus flavors, with vibrant acidity and plenty of grapefruit zest nuances on the finish. Drink now.

For a wine with such a large volume (over half a million cases were imported to the U.S.), the quality is admirable. Passion fruit and grapefruit elements dominate, while some grassier notes emerge as the wine sits in the glass, resulting in a pleasant blend of tropical and herbal notes. It’s plump on the midpalate, then gains focus on the lengthy, mouthwatering finish.

Tongue-gripping acidity with loads of citrus flavors. Peach and nectarine flavors round out the citrus. Grassy undertones. Finishes long and dry.

A bouquet of citrus and tropical fruits backed by characteristic herbaceous notes that Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is famous for. An exuberant wine brimming with flavours of pineapple and stonefruit with a hint of herbaceousness. The finish is fresh and zesty.
