Earthy, stalky flavors overcome the modest fruit. Drink now.
Lively, fruity style has pear and lime aromas and flavors, lingering well. Drink now.
Tangy aromas of orange, peach, melon and underripe pineapple. Juicy, fruity and fresh, with supple melon, peach and nectarine flavors perked up by some CO2 Vibrant but not at all hard. Clean, lightly spicy finish shows subtle persistence.
A reliably fruit-filled offering, the 2005 version offers honeyed apple, melon and pear flavors carried by a well-rounded and slightly viscous wine. On the soft side, with a pithy note to the finish.
Light and refreshing, a zingy mouthful of citrus, apple and guava flavors that echo nicely on the uncomplicated finish. Drink now.
Poached pear, roasted yellow apple and lemon skin flavors have very good concentration. Drink now.
Winemaker's Notes:
If you like you Chardonnay with true expression of fruit then this is the one to love! This wine does not hide behind any oak. It’s a crisp wine that tastes of the succulence and freshness of the grape. White peach, grapefruit and melon with a hint of pineapple flavours are supported by a soft and textured mouthfeel (achieved through malolactic fermentation). It may have no oak, but this wine has an abundance of character. Drink it with all seafood, delicate white meats and creamy pasta dishes.
Tasting Notes:
Colour Pale straw. Aroma A fruit-forward nose showing rich pineapple, white stonefruit, and melon characteristics. Palate A soft, full-length palate of intense pineapple and tropical fruits. Cellar Two years with confidence.
