The wine quality exceeds the price several times! This is a great find and one does not expect to discover such quality characteristics at this price. The nose, with an abundance of intriguing nuances including chocolate and garden deep spices invites repeated ‘nosing’. The wine follows the nose well with even more layers of flavor exciting front and mid palette and finishes with a just hint of chocolate after taste. No harshness here and the wine for experienced wine lovers will have you anticipating Big beef or Lamb.

South Eastern AustraliaKilda Shiraz is a red wine gem from Down Under delivering great quality for its price. St Kilda wines are produced by De Bortoli Wines, based in Bilbul in the Riverina region of New South Wales. (The label has recently changed from Kilda to St. Kilda.) Selected as a Daily Wine Pick by Wine Spectator.Kilda Shiraz is dark ruby-purple in color with a rich aroma of blackberries, raspberries, spice and toasty oak. Medium-full in body with typical Aussie ripeness of fruit, the wine offers flavors of blackberries, blueberries and spice with a nice touch of oak. Well balanced to enjoy now and over the next 4-5 years, the wine lingers beautifully on the smooth finish.Enjoy Kilda Shiraz with steak, BBQ ribs, roast pork, pastas and sharp cheeses.
