Ketcham Sonoma County Viognier 2007
Notes on the Ketcham Sonoma County Viognier 2007 : NVWE NOTES: This fine Viognier has elegant floral notes of honeysuckle and jasmine to highlight its fruit core of white peach and Asian pear. The pear notes are dominant on the palate, along with rich peach pit, preserved lemon and orange zest notes. The wine is fleshy in texture, but never less than zesty-dry, through a lingering finish that is made richer by developing apricot and camphor blossom notes and firmer by mineral undercurrents. This is a terrific wine for sushi, but it would serve just as well with baked chicken or sauted fish. 246 cases produced. KETCHAM SONOMA COUNTY VIOGNIER 2007

Wine Tasting NotesThis shows a crisp refreshing style with typical Viognier complexity and layers of flavors. Viognier is typically full-bodied with effusive aromas, and our Viognier carries the torch proudly. A terrific food wine, you can pair this with traditional favorites like pasta and seafood, but we have also tried it with spicy stirfries and Thai food and found it a great pairing. We are happy to have produced a very unique California Viognier.
