- Our Merlot is a deeply colored wine possessing substantial ripe-raspberry, black cherry and sweet vanilla flavors and aromas. A generous dollop of barrel toast and fresh violets finishes the job nicely. The structure and tannins are very Cabernet Sauvignon-like which leads one to believe this wine shall evolve slowly and age quite well.
