Very drinkable, low-expectation grocery store pinot. I like this 2004 much better than the simpler 2005. Hints of earth and mustard on the otherwise cherry/berry nose. Taste is strawberry red licorice with cinnamon stick with an lengthy and interesting ginger ale-like finish. A new world burgundy, a bit thin, but not as one-dimensional as others suggest.

This refreshing, fruity Pinot Noir is wonderfully versatile on the table and can be served with a wide range of foods, including pork, chicken, lamb and salmon.

Quite deep. dark crimson. Quite mulch-like nose. Slightly sweaty and certainly very, very sweet! But it does carry some Russian River imprint - it's just not very refreshing.
