Kenwood Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma Valley 2011
External Reviews for Kenwood Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma Valley
A reasonably good value is the Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma, which reveals aromas and flavors of cedar, roasted herbs, black cherries, and spice. Medium-bodied with deep fruit, it is meant to be consumed over the next 4-5 years.
Dark and lush, with just a hint of oak, and a pleasant round finish. A trully excellent value in Cabernet.
Complex aromas of boysenberry, fig, allspice, vanilla and anise are complemented by well-structured tannins and a long finish. - Winery Composition: 87% Cabernet Sauvignon 10% Merlot 3% Syrah Appellation: Sonoma County Aging: 22 months in French, Eastern European and American oak barrels Acid: 6.4 pH: 3.57 Alcohol: 13.5%
This Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon opens with inviting aromas of black cherry, wild blackberries, cloves and pomegranate. The nose leads to a plush mouthfeel filled with fresh berry, and brown spice flavors. The wine is well-structured and has incredible fruit density, balance and an elegant finish. This wine is easy to drink now but will continue to reward with age.
