- There was just a little something about this that turned me off it. It wasn't bad, but I didn't think it was great either. It was just... boring. Purchased for $4.99 at Grocery Outlet (train derailment). Damn! I bought this twice. Shame. Still boring the second time around.

- Composition: 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc Kenwood Vineyard's Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon is made predominantly of fruit sourced from Estate ranches in Sonoma Valley. Each vineyard lot is kept separate throughout fermentation and aging to preserve the unique flavors of the individual vineyards that create this consistent, award-winning wine. The growing season of 2004 had a light crop which contributed to the intense character of the vintage fruit. The harvest concluded with warm fall weather which further concentrated the flavors. After fermenting read more...the grapes in stainless steel tanks, the wine was aged in French and American oak barrels for 24 months. Before bottling, Merlot and Cabernet Franc were added to the final blend. The result is a rich, complex, and fruity wine that has flavor reminiscent of raspberry truffles. Enjoyable now, the wine in this bottle will continue to improve with age. Serve the 2004 County Cabernet Sauvignon with rich pasta dishes, lamb and steak. (hide)
